Kuku Korero
This Friday our second annual Kuku Korero is on. This is a Year 6-8 Maori Speech Competition between us and 7 other schools. There are 10 speakers in total and we invite whanau along to watch.
The day starts with a powhiri for our visitors at 9.30am. The speech competition starts at 11am with prizegiving at 2.30pm.
Lunch is at 1pm and we have whanau Matariki and OSCAR selling food as a part of their fundraising plans.
Matariki are selling Mince and Fry Bread for $3. Drinks $1. Oscar will have a sausage sizzle going $2.
OSCAR are also selling a mini hangi for $5. (chicken, cabbage, potato, pumpkin, stuffing, fry bread)There are only 150 of these and are pre-order only. If you are going to be here on Friday and would like a hangi for lunch please text Sue on 021 277 3377
